We went to the Parade of Lights tonight. It was cold, but fun! The kids really got into it and were so excited to see Santa at the end. I love this candid shot of my boys enjoying the parade together.

Today was a wonderful day! I woke up early and went to Crazy8 to get some great Black Friday deals on clothing for Alexis. Then we decorated the inside of the house. Ordered pizza for lunch. Put Pax down for a nap. I went to JoAnn's to get some frabic. Picked up some Starbucks for the hubby and myself. Spent the entire evening addressing all our Christmas cards (they are all ready to be put in the mail tomorrow! Yay!). Now I'm catching up on editing pictures. Feeling accomplished!

We did a craft at MOPS this morning. It was my first experience with modge podge. I now want to see what else I can modge podge, ha! These photo blocks turned out pretty cute although I am not very crafty. I had high hopes that I could use this as a Christmas present for one of the great-grandparents this year, but it does not look good enough to give as a gift. Oh well... it was fun to make! =)

I broke out the tripod and my remote this morning... and I'm so glad I did.

The kids wanted to play Don't Break the Ice (their favorite) and they wanted me to play with them. It only takes a couple minutes to get my camera and remote set up and it is so worth it.

We went out to dinner with my family for my sister-in-law's birthday! After dinner we all went over to my parents house to eat cake and watch the Bronco game together. Alexis loved the raspberry cheesecake! =)

Pax loves this airplane. He calls it his rocket ship. He counts down and it blasts off. He insists that it goes with him in the car, when he naps, and even in the bath tub. He told me today that if I get him underwear with rocket ships on it then he will pee in the potty! I am on the hunt!

I'm just going to be honest...... I have not been in the picture taking mood at all lately. I have been feelng so uncreative. I am literally counting down the days until this 365 project is over (52 more days!) 

Tonight my daughter was watching a movie on the iPad and I liked the way the light was reflecting on her face. I was so excited when I got this shot. But as I was looking at it in post processing it became very apparent that it's kind of creepy....like a floating head or something? Then I couldn't stop laughing. So here's my super creepy picture of the day. 

Tonight I am going to browse Pinterest and other photographers that I love and get so filled up with inspiration that I will be so excited tomorrow morning to pick up my camera and get creative! I need to stop counting down the days and start making the days count!

Today was a very VERY exciting day! I finally got my canvases! I have been dreaming about filling this large wall in our family room with family pictures on beautiful canveses. Today that came true. It took my husband and I a whole hour to hang them, but once it was done I had tears in my eyes (sad, but true!) I can't wait to finish this wall off with a couple of chairs and a little end table in the center. Eeeek!

Paxton: Mommy, me have candy?

A few minutes pass and I realize he has been quiet for too long. I go check on him to find that he some how got a Hershey's and is sitting chowing down on it all while keeping his eyes closed (he thinks you can't see him if his eyes are closed! ha!) When he was done he threw the wrapper in the trash and then put himself in time-out. I guess it was worth the punishment. 2 year olds are so fun!

I thought this was a cute shot in camera. Then I got it into PS and it's horrible. How did that happen? It was the only picture I took today, so it will just have to do. We win some, we lose some, right?

There was lots of painting going on today. The kids begged me to get all the paints out, so I went with this little set up and it really helped on the clean up. They painted for hours and insisted I hang every single masterpiece up. I love the excitement they have when they tell me what's in each picture.
