Week 12

2 weeks of sickness and I am finally better! YAY!!

The weather has been beautiful lately! Definitely doesn't feel like a normal March in Colorado this year. It's been really warm, and we've been loving every moment of it!

I had Cory take a couple maternity pictures for me. I keep forgetting to document my growing belly. 30 weeks! 10 to go! Getting very excited to meet this lil lady!

Disney on Ice! We have gone every year for the past 5 years, we all love it! I was so happy that I brought my zoom lens with me to get some shots of the show!

Alexis' Kindergarten homework. I have to admit, I am looking forward to summer….and NO homework for a few months! ;)

Week 11

This Flu is really kicking my butt, I'm STILL sick!! But I'm well enough to at least get out of the house a little bit each day and I haven't had a fever in almost a week so hopefully I'm on the mend. Keeping my fingers crossed…

We went to the St. Patrick's Day parade! It was a beautiful day for it and we've never been so we thought it would be a nice outing after being cooped up inside for weeks. 

We went and saw CINDERELLA!! I have been looking forward to this movie for so long! We are huge Disney fans so we couldn't wait! And it didn't disappoint… it was magical! Alexis insisted on wearing her Cinderella dress to the theater.

After the movie we met up with my parents, brother and sister-in-law to launch off rockets. Paxton has been asking when we were going to do it again for months and we finally had a nice enough day for it!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The kids both had little parties in their classrooms and couldn't wait to see if a leprechaun and visited them at school.

Week 10

It was my turn to get the Flu =( 

This week was hard. Having the flu while being pregnant and still have 2 older kiddos to take care of was rough. I'm behind posting this week since I've been locked in my room trying to get better as fast as I can! 

Alexis had to make a leprechaun trap for Kindergarten. Cory helped her come up with this idea and I think it turned out pretty cute! I felt well enough to grab the camera and document them making it. But that was it for the week…… hopefully all this sickness that's hit my family will be gone soon!

Week 9

What a week! I started it off celebrating my 28th birthday! Also decided to take a belly picture- my first one this whole pregnancy-oops. 26 Weeks!

Then our week got crazy…..

We had planned on spending our weekend converting our office into a nursery. But both kids woke up with high fevers, runny noses, coughing….sick. We took them to the doctor and they both tested positive for Influenza B. No joke. Alexis just got over Influenza A 2 months ago. While the kids slept Cory and I worked quick to try and clear out the office and continue on with our plans. Easier said than done. The kids missed 3 days of school and Alexis ended up with an ear infection as well. All while this is going on my grandfather is in the hospital and I'm being told that he probably won't be making it for much longer. Heartbroken. This has been a long and emotional week so there is just this one lonely photo this week.
