Today I will be thankful for the endless piles of laundry. For there will come a day with the laundry basket is empty and these days will be profoundly missed.

Alexis earned a new badge for Girl Scouts! Her troop went to the Denver Aquarium and had a sleepover. She got to sleep next to the shark tank. She loved every minute of it.

I absolutely LOVE the way Brexlyn takes a nap. She curls her little legs up underneath herself and has the diaper butt in the air. So so sweet. But she is such a light sleeper that I could never sneak in her room and capture it, so a picture of the baby monitor will have to do for now.

We spent the day with my family launching rockets and having a BBQ.

Alexis' softball coach asked if I could take her softball teams pictures. I was a little hesitant, but I'm happy that I did!

Today was the start of Alexis' softball tournament. They could potentially play 1 game a night for 2 weeks if they win them all and make it to the final game. Does it make me a bad mom that I secretly hope they don't win anymore games, so the season can just be over? Every night for 2 weeks stresses me out. 

This was the only picture I took. I just wasn't in the softball mood or the picture taking mood.

200|366 - another kids days joy

Our local mall puts on this "Kids Days" event every week throughout the summer and each week is themed. About a month ago we went to the art themed one. Today was science themed and since we didn't have anything going on I figured we could go check it out.

The kids got to plant pumpkins, make bird feeders, do an art experiment, make crystals, and fly rockets.  It was lots of fun!
