Anyone else doing some mom guilt shopping? Feeling the need to buy things that will keep your kids busy and having fun? Well..... I've been hit with it hard. I purchased this 'soak zone' trampoline attachment from Amazon and the kids absolutely love it! I think this will keep them happy throughout the summer.

Alexis has such a special bond with her dyslexia tutor. At the beginning of the school year she left on a mission trip to Africa and Alexis was devastated. We were assigned a new tutor at the center and continued on with tutoring, but no one could top Aubrey. Due to Covid she is back early! She surprised Alexis today during her remote tutoring session to say hello and to tell her that she will begin tutoring her again starting next week! There was tears rolling down both of our cheeks. My heart is so full seeing this duo back together again.

Today was Paxton's teachers birthday! A mom in the class organized a birthday parade to surprise her. She is one of the greatest teachers ever and Paxton has really missed her. The parade was a ton of fun and it felt good to get out of the house for a little bit.

Every night at 8:00pm our neighborhood goes outside and howls. Apparently howling is supposed to make us feel like we are all in this together and we aren't alone. I've also heard it's to thank the medical workers and essential employees. Either way, this little one loves it! She looks forward to running outside and doing a howl before heading to bed every night.

We're beginning a massive landscaping project over the next few months. The first step was to take down our swing set and give it to a sweet family and scoop out all the rubber pellets in this area. Paxton sprung out of bed and ran outside to help Cory. I love watching their father-son relationship.

Alexis has been going through a dyslexia tutoring program for 2 years now. There are 8 levels total. She just completed level 6 and this level was a long and tough one. So we surprised her with cookies from Crumbl. So proud of her.

We bought this pack of root beer and cream soda from Costco as a treat for the kids. They learned that blowing into a glass bottle makes a really fun sound. No so fun for my ears though. Ha!

I've been teaching Alexis how to shoot on Manual. She asked if we could set up a photo session with B so she could practice. We had so much fun shooting together! I love that she is interested in photography and that this quarantined has brought us the time to do it together.

She's shooting with my back-up camera. Some of these she took and some of them I took. She is doing such a great job!

The Thunderbirds did a flyover today as a thank you to everyone working on the front lines of this Covid-19 pandemic. They flew by so quickly that I was only able to get this one photo, but I love it so much!

In true Spring snow form, today the sun is out shining bright and all this snow will be melted by the end of the day.

We got quite the dumping of now today! It's that heavy and wet Spring snow- which is the best! I convinced the kids after homeschooling today that it would be really fun to shovel the driveway and sidewalk, ha! They did a pretty good job and did about half of it and Cory came in and finished the rest. I'm hoping this will be the last of the snow for the season, I'm ready to pack up all the Winter gear.
