Week 39

We had a uneventful week. Not much going on to photograph, not much to document. But here is what I got….

Week 38

It was spirit week at school and each day the kids had to dress up to fit the theme. Some days were pretty easy- like PJ day and other's were much more fun! Here's a few pictures of TWIN day!! Alexis wanted to dress like her friend Quinn and Quinn's mom made these gorgeous dresses for the girls. They were so cute!!

My other favorite spirit day was WINDSOR day! It's the high schools big homecoming football game and the whole town dresses in the Windsor colors. FUN!!

(don't mind our extremely messy garage in the background! ha!)

I was loving the golden light at Alexis' soccer practice and I was so happy that I brought my camera along. I love these photos of Pax.

Alexis "clipped" all the way to the very top on the behavior chart today. She was so excited and we were so proud of her. We took her out for some ice-cream to celebrate!

We were running early one morning (which hardly ever happens!) and I let Pax play outside for a few minutes before having to take him to soccer practice. The morning light was pretty and I had fun playing too! =)

Paxton's Soccer practice! Only one more week to go. He has loved it every week until this week. He told me soccer is boring and he wants to play basketball. So basketball, here we come!

My husband plays in an adult softball league. He loves it. I was happy I brought my camera out to one of his games to try and sneak a picture of him playing.

Another soccer game for Alexis, but this time SHE SCORED HER FIRST GOAL!!!!!! We were so excited for her and she was pretty proud of herself.

(a horrible picture, but here she is running to give me a hug after her goal!)

Week 37

Her first ever HOMEWORK assignment! She was so excited about it, ha! She could barely eat her lunch because she just wanted to get started. I hope this enthusiasm for homework stays forever! =)

Another soccer game. Cory keeps trying to convince me to not bring my camera to just ONE game, and just enjoy the moment. Maybe I will try that next week….. we'll see.

Week 36

It was a play-doh kind of morning =)

Alexis had her first soccer game of the season. She did good!

First BRONCO game of the season! We were all decked out in our blue and orange and couldn't wait for the game to start. We are so excited for this season.

Week 35

We started this week off with Alexis eye appointment. She has been having problems with her left eye and they had to change her prescription 6 months ago and today we needed to check to see if it was working. The doc said it hasn't gotten any worse, but it hasn't gotten any better either. So she'll need to seen again in another 6 months. We may go somewhere else and get a second opinion though. She sure is cute with those purple frames!

Paxton had his first soccer practice! He loved it! The coach is absolutely amazing and does so good with these little ones. I enjoyed watching him!

Our town had it's Harvest Festival for Labor Day weekend. It's a 3 day event that has tons of events and concerts going on. The best part is that it's all FREE! We tried to go to as many of the events as we could.

We started at the Hot-air Balloon Launch, to kick off the festival. When we got there it was super cold and foggy!

But once the sun had fully risen the fog went away and it warmed up quickly. I love being this close to the hot-air balloons and watching how they put them together and launch them. It's so fun. I hope someday I can ride in one!

After the balloon launch we went to the mall to get the kids some new shoes!

There was a fireworks show and we got to the lake early to get good seats. We waited a long time for those fireworks and right before they were launched off it downpoured and we ran back to our car and had to watch them from inside our car.

The next morning we headed to the Arts Picnic. We shopped all the little booths and checked out all it had to offer. The kids got their faces painted.

Then we headed over to the Car Show. Cory and Paxton were in boy heaven.

The last day there is a big parade! Each float throws out tons of candy to all the kids. It's a lot of fun!

After dinner we were having some family time and getting ready for this next week and we heard the ice-cream truck! Yay!! We let the kids pick a treat out.
