Week 30

We needed a family picture for Paxton's preschool. So with a little help from my tripod and remote we got one! Our first family of FIVE picture. =)

Brexlyn is 7 weeks old!

I love spending summer nights outside playing with my big kids. It's hard to believe that school starts in just a few weeks and we'll be back into a schedule and routine. I'm trying to enjoy these last nights of summer.

Week 29

Swimming lessons are now over! After the last one we stayed at the pool and Cory even took a little time off work to stop by so the kids could show off all their new swimming skills.

I realized the big kids had coordinating outfits on! I love when that happens, and it must be documented, because it doesn't happen all that often. =)

Cory's company throws a big company party at the lake each summer. We were so excited! We had to take a boat to get to the island and once we got off we received swag bags full of lots of little gifts. There was canoes, paddle boats, trampolines in the water, swimming, playing on the beach, amazing food, and lots of prizes! It was such a fun day!

My HAPPY baby!

This girl is such a water baby! She loves her baths. She has never cried during one, instead she looks so calm and happy.

Week 28

This first week of swimming lessons has been miserably cold! One day it downpoured on the kids. The big pools heater was broken so the water was freezing as well. Most of their lessons took place in the baby pool and they got bored quickly…

Cory and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary! Since I didn't feel comfortable leaving Brexlyn with a babysitter so soon we decided to celebrate as a family! We went back to the place we got married! We showed the kids exactly where we stood and where our reception was, they loved hearing all about it and had soooo many questions for us. ha! It turned out to be a really fun day!

After we got home from the mountains the kids were being so sweet together, so I took a few more… =)

Alexis had her last T-Ball practice. It was a water-balloon flight.

The next night Alexis had her very last T-Ball game ever. Next year she'll go up to coach pitch. What a fun season.

Week 27

Cory had the day off work so we decided to have a family fun day at a local fun park. There was go-carts, bumper-boats, arcade, giant slide, put-put golf.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a fairly low-key holiday. In the morning we participated in our neighborhood bike parade. All the kids decorate their bikes and we parade throughout the neighborhood. After the parade we headed to our neighborhood pool. They put on a big event. There is a BBQ and lots of games for the kids to win prizes. After a day at the pool we went to the lake to watch the fireworks.

Just because….

Alexis had another T-Ball game. It was overcast out so I decided to bring my camera so I could get some pictures of her and not have to worry so much about the light. Well….. Brexlyn had other plans for me. ;) She wasn't having any of the windy weather we were having, so I was only able to get a few and baby and I sat in the car to watch the rest of the game.

The big kids started swim lessons this week.

Brexlyn is 1 MONTH OLD! I can't even believe it. We had her doctor appointment and she is now 9lbs 9oz. Healthy and happy, just the way I like em! =)

Here are her 1 month pictures…
