187|366 - murphys law day joy

Today was a Murphy's Law day. Anything that could go wrong…did. 

The kids were being super whinny and mean to each other all morning. Cory called and asked if we wanted to meet up with him for lunch and I screamed YES!! To get out of the house a bit and hopefully make the time pass a bit more quickly. I did bring my camera and captured this one photo of B eating french fries. But it was at lunch that all the kids started complaining about their throats hurting and tummy's hurting and just being miserable. We couldn't get out of the restaurant fast enough. We went home and the crazyness continued. I thought Paxton wasn't feeling well but thought the girls were fine. So later we head out to Alexis' softball game and Paxton keeps complaining about his throat. So my husband looks at his tonsils and sees it… STREP! So we take a detour and head straight to Urgent Care. They checked all 3 kiddos and all 3 had fevers and tested positive for Strep. Brexlyn also had a ear infection! We had to wait in that tiny dr office for over an hour- it was torture for us all. We got their prescriptions and headed home. It was now past bedtime and they hadn't even eaten dinner yet. So while they ate I got all their medicine lined up. Paxton was up first. He took it. Then threw it all up. He said it tasted yucky. We sat for over 2 hours with him trying to take more and he refused.

It was a long day and a even longer night. 

But we made it through. Somehow.
