Week 35

We started this week off with Alexis eye appointment. She has been having problems with her left eye and they had to change her prescription 6 months ago and today we needed to check to see if it was working. The doc said it hasn't gotten any worse, but it hasn't gotten any better either. So she'll need to seen again in another 6 months. We may go somewhere else and get a second opinion though. She sure is cute with those purple frames!

Paxton had his first soccer practice! He loved it! The coach is absolutely amazing and does so good with these little ones. I enjoyed watching him!

Our town had it's Harvest Festival for Labor Day weekend. It's a 3 day event that has tons of events and concerts going on. The best part is that it's all FREE! We tried to go to as many of the events as we could.

We started at the Hot-air Balloon Launch, to kick off the festival. When we got there it was super cold and foggy!

But once the sun had fully risen the fog went away and it warmed up quickly. I love being this close to the hot-air balloons and watching how they put them together and launch them. It's so fun. I hope someday I can ride in one!

After the balloon launch we went to the mall to get the kids some new shoes!

There was a fireworks show and we got to the lake early to get good seats. We waited a long time for those fireworks and right before they were launched off it downpoured and we ran back to our car and had to watch them from inside our car.

The next morning we headed to the Arts Picnic. We shopped all the little booths and checked out all it had to offer. The kids got their faces painted.

Then we headed over to the Car Show. Cory and Paxton were in boy heaven.

The last day there is a big parade! Each float throws out tons of candy to all the kids. It's a lot of fun!

After dinner we were having some family time and getting ready for this next week and we heard the ice-cream truck! Yay!! We let the kids pick a treat out.
